BETTER, SMARTER, FASTER:
HOW WE’RE REVOLUTIONIZING COMMERCIAL CLEANING
The COVID-19 pandemic was a game-changer for the industry. As regular sanitization became vital for any kind of work, cleaning gained massive importance and professional cleaning services were suddenly in great demand.
Although cleaning is seen as vital, cleaners are generally not highly paid. Cleaning is seen as unrewarding and low-status, regardless of the actual compensation and working conditions.
In recent years, the commercial cleaning world has faced many complex and sometimes conflicting challenges.
The inevitable result? A shortage of around 45,000 cleaners in Israel alone.
As a result, Tavas has made significant R&D investments in order to create the efficient cleaning solutions that will overcome the challenges within this field.
As a forward-looking market leader, Tavas has augmented its cleaning services with various automated and robotic solutions that present several significant advantages:
Robotic cleaners can scrub, sweep, and vacuum large areas in the fastest and most efficient way, increasing productivity without any need to increase the workforce.
Professional cleaners are spared the most arduous (and tedious) work, lessening physical effort, while enabling them to gain new skills.
The use of advanced technologies improves the image of the cleaning profession, increasing employee recruitment and retention.
Tavas has excellent working relationships with the major importers of cleaning robots and also cooperates with the Electra Group’s procurement division to bring state-of-the-art technologies to Israel.
Each potential solution, from smart mops to window-cleaning drones, is carefully assessed in terms of ROI, employee retention, performance, and reduction in manual labor prior to being adopted on a permanent basis.
We have already conducted demos and pilots with state-of-the-art AI and IoT technology for customers across many industries, including showcasing four different customized robots at the national robot challenge arena.
Clean rooms are controlled environments used by various industries where even the smallest particles can adversely affect the manufacturing process, such as semiconductors, pharmaceuticals, biotech, medical devices, critical process manufacturing, and many more.
Tavas Class provides a variety of clean room services, including:
Routine cleaning by specially trained crews
Application & removal of antistatic wax
Real-time particle measurement
Procurement of equipment and materials from the world’s leading manufacturers
Specialist cleaning at height
Particle monitoring and measurement is essential in order to control contamination. Tavas utilizes several state-of-the-art devices to ensure accurate real-time measurement, such as the Lasair III 110 Airborne Particle Counter. This is a laser diode-based, true 0.1-micron particle counter with a 1 CFM flow rate that provides real-time measurement of yield-impacting particles and is an ideal tool for ISO 14644-1 certified class 1 and 2 clean rooms.
Effective cleaning of high-level and awkward-to-reach locations has always been a significant challenge in the commercial cleaning world.
Tavas utilizes the SpaceVac internal vacuum system, precision-engineered to deliver a complete solution that enables operators to clean at heights of up to 12 meters while remaining at ground level. Thanks to a range of specialist cleaning heads and its robust lightweight design, the SpaceVac provides unrivaled flexibility and performance without the need for expensive, time-consuming, and potentially hazardous options like ladders, scaffolding, or cherry pickers.
Reflecting our dedication to data-driven performance, all customers are provided with a Time per Task (TPT) table that details the standard expected times for each type of cleaning task. Our TPT data is compiled from in-depth research into the average times taken for various kinds of tasks, across different days and shifts.
Depending on the procedures of a specific customer or location, the data may also account for required waiting times, interruptions, and mandatory security checks. This enables us to build a more precise ROI model and internal work plans, while also ensuring that each customer receives the most accurate price quote.
